Anand Articals

Being right across from the Old Town Post, we see a lot of the neighborhood pass by every single day. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. Anand Articals is really just a small operation. We don’t have those bright neon signs or a fancy front desk. Most of the time, the space is filled with boxes and items waiting to be sorted through. The post office across the street is a good landmark, so people usually find us without too much trouble. It gets a bit dusty in the afternoons when the wind picks up, and we spend a fair amount of time just keeping the place tidy. There isn’t a grand story behind it. We needed a place to work, and this spot worked out for us. You won't find any corporate brochures here. We talk to people directly, and if we have what they need, we get it for them. If not, we tell them where else to look. The routine is the same every week. Monday to Saturday, we’re here. It’s a quiet kind of life, mostly. We don't really do the whole sales pitch thing. We just focus on the items we have and making sure the counts are right. It’s simple work, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by just to chat.
