Our location is at H.No-719 in Subash Nagar, which is part of the Rehari Colony area in Jammu. It is a residential neighborhood, so the Punj Lloyd Ltd office is actually inside a house. This gives it a much more relaxed feel than a standard office building. We have the usual stuff like computers and printers, but you might also see some personal touches like potted plants on the porch. The winters here get quite chilly, so we usually have a heater running near the desks while we go through our schedules. Rehari Colony is a pretty well-known spot in Jammu, and it is easy enough for people to find us once they get into the lane. We are not interested in looking like a big corporate entity. We are just local staff managing the various bits and pieces of work for Punj Lloyd Ltd. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so the atmosphere is pretty friendly. We share lunch and talk about the local news while we wait for reports from the field. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or use the backup while we keep writing up our notes. It is a simple, honest way of working. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby. We just have our desks, our tea, and the work that needs to be handled every day in this part of J & K.
