Pinky Engineers

Pinky Engineers is just a small place here on Street No. 4 in Jammu Colony. We’ve been in this same spot for a good while now, and most of the people around here know where to find us. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. If you walk down the street past the corner shop, you’ll see our door. Most days start pretty early when the sun is just coming up over the houses. We get the shutters up and start moving things around to make space. The machines take a bit to warm up sometimes. It gets loud once everything is running, but that’s just how it is. We spend a lot of time just looking at drawings and measuring things on the workbench. There is usually a layer of dust on everything by noon, no matter how much we try to sweep it out. Some days are busier than others. When it rains, the street gets a bit muddy and we have to keep the floors wiped so nobody slips. We have a small desk in the corner where the paperwork sits in stacks. It’s mostly just us working through the list of what needs to get done before the day ends. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the workshop and the tools we’ve had for years. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of material delivered, but we manage to find a place for it all eventually. We’re just regular folks doing our jobs here.
