Trikuta Nagar is where we are, right over at 145/3. It's usually a busy area around Sai Palace, especially in the mornings. The rooms here are pretty basic, just some rows of desks and chairs that we’ve used for a long time. Students come from all over Jammu to spend their afternoons with us. It gets really hot in the summer, so we try to keep the ceiling fans going as much as possible. Most days it’s just the quiet sound of pens on paper and a bit of traffic noise coming from the street outside. We don't have fancy equipment or a lobby. Just some old books and people trying to learn their subjects. It started as a small idea and now we have several batches through the day. It gets very crowded in the evenings once school lets out and the kids arrive on their bikes. We just keep our heads down and work through the chapters one by one. Sometimes parents sit on the wooden bench outside if they’re early to pick up their kids. It's a simple, practical setup. We mostly focus on what the kids are struggling with that week. Most students just walk here or park their cycles near the entrance. We’ve seen a lot of kids grow up in these rooms. They come in for one subject and stay for years. That’s just the way it goes here in Jammu. We try to keep everything organized but sometimes things get a bit messy.
