Engg. Graphics

You can find Engg. Graphics over in Krishna Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of Jammu compared to some of the other districts. Our workshop or office, whatever you want to call it, is full of drafting tables and various tools that we use daily. It smells a bit like paper and ink in here most of the time. Hours are mostly spent bent over drawings or checking measurements on a screen. The lighting isn't always the best, so we have a few extra lamps sitting around to help us see the fine details. People from around Krishna Nagar often drop by just to ask a quick question or to see if their prints are ready. We try to keep a schedule, but things often get pushed back when a machine acts up or we run out of a specific type of paper. Usually, the radio plays softly in the background to fill the silence while we work. The area around 180001 is where we’ve always been, so we know the local shops where we can grab a quick bite during lunch. It’s a simple life here, just focusing on the lines and the graphics we need to produce. There’s nothing fancy about the way we operate, just some honest work being done by people who know their way around a drawing board. Doors stay open because we stay busy enough, and that’s about all there is to it.
