Aakar Architects Interior Designer

We are located at House Number 61 on Canal Road in the Vinaik Bazar area. It is part of the Mohinder Nagar Extension in Jammu. Our office is actually part of a house, so it has a very different feel than a corporate building. It’s more relaxed and a bit more personal, I think. Aakar Architects Interior Designer is basically just a couple of rooms filled with books, fabric samples, and computers. Because we are on Canal Road, we get a bit of that breeze, but the traffic can still be loud during the middle of the day. We’ve been working from this spot for quite a while now. Most days are spent sitting here and trying to figure out the best way to fit a kitchen or a staircase into a tight space. We don't have a big staff, so whoever answers the door is usually the person doing the actual design work. It gets a bit messy with all the paper and samples everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you’re trying to design interiors. People from Vinaik Bazar often stop by just to ask a quick question about their own homes. We don't mind the interruptions much because it's part of being in this neighborhood. It’s a simple, straightforward way of working. We just take one project at a time and try to finish it before we start worrying about the next one.
