Himalayan Hotel

Our place is located up on Upper Cart Road. It's a bit of a climb to get here, but that's how it is in the hills. The hotel has been around for a long time, and you can see it in the way the walls look and the old wooden floors that creak a little when you walk on them. We have a lot of trees around the property, so it stays pretty quiet most of the time, except for the birds in the morning. People usually come here when they want to get away from the noise of the bigger towns down below. We have some gardens where guests like to sit and have their tea. It isn't a fancy modern building with shiny glass; it's more of an old-style house that we turned into a hotel. We spend a lot of our time fixing things up because the weather in the mountains can be tough on buildings. The rooms are simple, with heavy blankets for the cold nights. We try to keep the fires going in the common areas when it gets chilly. Most of our staff have lived nearby their whole lives, so they know the roads well. It's just a regular place for travelers who don't mind a bit of character and some fresh air. We hope it stays that way for a long time.
