We are located out on Bagoda Road at the Shree Ram Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a drive for some, but this is where the work actually happens every single day. Our yard is usually quite busy with trucks coming in and out at all hours of the day. We spend most of our mornings moving heavy slabs around and making sure things are cut right. It’s loud here because of the big saws, and there is always some white dust in the air that gets on everything. We don’t have a fancy office or a lobby. Just a small desk where we keep our logs and take phone calls from people looking for stone. The guys have been working here for years and they know the materials inside and out. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when it’s way too hot to be standing outside on the concrete, but we just keep at it. People come by to look at the different colors we have in stock. We show them what’s on the racks and tell them where the blocks came from. Most of the time, we are just focused on getting the orders ready for the next truck. It’s a lot of physical labor, but that’s how this business works for us. We keep our tools sharp and our eyes on the slabs. There isn't much more to it than that. We are just a local group of people trying to make a living.
