Samar Steel Industries

Samar Steel Industries is out in the MIDC Area of Jalgaon, specifically at Plot No. 1 and M-104. If you’ve ever been to Jalgaon in the summer, you know how incredibly hot it gets, and it’s even hotter inside a steel workshop. We spend our days surrounded by heavy sheets of metal and the smell of industrial cutting oil. It’s a noisy place with the sounds of grinders and hammers going from morning until evening. We have two plots here, so we’re often moving back and forth between them to check on different stages of the work. The ground is usually dusty, and the walls of the sheds are stained from years of production. It’s hard work, but we have a solid crew who have been doing this for a long time. We keep a big water cooler near the entrance because everyone needs to stay hydrated in this heat. There’s a lot of loading and unloading going on, with trucks frequently backing into the yard to pick up finished orders. We don't have a polished front office with fancy furniture; instead, we have a small room with a wooden desk and a few chairs where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes customers come by to see the progress on their items, and they usually find us out on the floor rather than in the office. It’s a grit-and-grime kind of job, but it’s what we know how to do best here.
