Our place is right in Jalgaon, specifically at the 425001 zip code area. Sai Prerna B. Ed College is a bit of a hub for people who want to get into teaching. It’s a busy building most of the time. We have people coming in from all over the district, so the hallways stay pretty crowded during the middle of the day. The sun in Jalgaon can be really intense, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as we can, though some days it’s just plain hot. We spend a lot of time filing papers and making sure the registers are updated. It’s not glamorous work, but someone has to do it. The students are mostly young adults, so they are quieter than little kids, but they still leave their bags everywhere. We have a small office where we handle all the admissions and questions. Sometimes the internet is slow and it takes forever to get things done, which is frustrating for everyone. We don’t have a massive campus with gardens, it’s more of a practical space for learning. We just focus on the classes and getting the syllabus finished on time. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’ve seen a lot of different groups come and go. It’s just a steady, daily routine in the heart of town. We are just a group of people helping others get their teaching degrees.
