The college is located right on the Main Road, which makes it easy for the students to get here, even if the noise from the traffic never really stops. It’s a big building, and there is always someone running around with a lab coat or a stack of books. We spend our days dealing with the usual stuff that comes with a school—timetables, broken equipment in the labs, and making sure the hallways stay somewhat clean. It’s not always quiet; actually, it’s rarely quiet during the day. Between the lectures, you hear the shuffle of feet and the constant chatter from the canteen area. The faculty rooms are usually piled high with papers that need grading, and the ink on the printers always seems to run out at the worst time. Being on the Main Road means we see everything that happens in town from the front gates. We’ve seen a lot of classes come and go through these doors. Some kids stay focused, others are just waiting for the bell to ring so they can go home. We don’t put on a show here. It’s just a place of learning where the chemicals in the lab sometimes smell a bit strong and the chalk dust gets on everyone’s clothes. We have a small courtyard where students gather between classes, and their voices carry right into the windows. Sometimes the experiments in the labs go a bit sideways and the whole corridor smells like sulfur for an hour, but we just open the windows wider. We don't have a big fancy budget for everything, so we fix what we can and make the rest work. The faculty is a small group, and we all know each other's coffee preferences. It’s a long road from being a student to being a pharmacist, and we see that struggle every day. It’s a lot of routine, but it keeps the place moving forward year after year without much change.
