S. K Medicine

I've been here at S. K Medicine on Bhadli Road for a while now. It’s a quiet spot in Asoda, mostly just locals walking by. The shop isn't huge, but it does the job. Usually, I get in early and open up the shutters before the sun gets too hot. Bhadli Road can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so there's always some cleaning to do. Most of the folks who come in are people I see every day. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It's just shelves and boxes really. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because the road is narrow, but we manage. My family helps out when things get busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Asoda is a small place, so news travels fast if someone needs something specific. I spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and checking dates. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps me occupied. Sometimes I sit outside on a stool when it's slow. You get to know the rhythm of the street after a few years. It's just a regular medicine shop on Bhadli Road, nothing more. We try to keep things simple and just keep the doors open for whoever stops by. It feels like home here, even with all the paperwork and the boxes piled up in the back. It is just a part of the daily life in Asoda.
