Smaart Pharmaceuticals is located out at B-23 in the MIDC area on Ajantha Road. It’s an industrial spot, so there’s always trucks moving around and the sound of machines nearby. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s where we get things done. Being in the MIDC zone means we are surrounded by other businesses doing similar hard work every day. Ajantha Road can get pretty dusty in the summer months, and the rain really pours down here during the monsoon. We’ve been at B-23 for some time now. The building is a simple structure, nothing too modern, just functional for what a pharmaceutical place needs. Most of us live nearby or commute in from the surrounding suburbs. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the logistics of being in an industrial estate. It's a straightforward life here. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the place look like a corporate office. It's about the work on the floor. Smaart Pharmaceuticals is just a group of people trying to do their jobs right in this corner of the estate. The tea stall down the road is where most of us end up during breaks. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you’re not used to the industrial layout, but for us, Ajantha Road is just where we go every morning. We like it here.
