We set up Padmshree Dairy and Foods Product over on Bhadgaon Road in Pachora. Our spot is in Vivekanand Nagar, specifically at Plot 23. It is a busy little area and we are glad to be part of the local scene. We mostly handle milk and some other food items that come in from the local farms nearby. Every morning the cans arrive and we have to get moving quickly. Dairy is a tough business because you can't really wait around for things to happen. If the cooling isn't right, you have a big problem on your hands. We have a small team of workers who know the routine by heart now and don't need much telling. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Maharashtra or win any awards. We just want to make sure the milk is handled right and gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the equipment acts up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing a pump or a leaky pipe. It's all part of the daily grind for us. We live close by, so we are always around if something needs attention late at night or on the weekends. The floors are always a bit wet from cleaning, and there is usually a lot of noise from the plastic crates being moved around. It’s a practical business for practical people. Neighbors know us as the dairy folks down the road and that suits us just fine.
