Amul Enterprises

Amul Enterprises is located at M-25 in the MIDC area. If you know the MIDC, you know it’s all about industry and getting things made. Our unit isn’t the biggest one on the block, but it’s where we spend all our time. The air always smells a bit like metal and machinery around here. We’ve got our machines set up inside M-25 and we keep them running pretty much all day. It’s a lot of noise and heat, especially in the summer months. We don't have a reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and you’re right where the work is happening. We deal with various manufacturing tasks. Some days are just about routine maintenance and making sure everything is aligned. Other days are a rush to finish up a specific batch. Working in the MIDC means you’re surrounded by other people doing the same kind of hard work. We see the same faces every day at the tea stalls or the local canteen. It’s a gritty kind of life, but it suits us. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the jobs we have and making sure they get done right. It’s a practical way to earn a living. The walls are a bit stained and the floors are concrete, but it’s home to our business and we keep it moving.
