Mamudevi Fabrication

Our small workshop is located in Village Asoda, right in the Rampetha area near the Sri Ram Temple. It’s a quiet part of Jalgaon compared to the main town, but we stay busy enough with the folks around here. You can usually find us working on something near the entrance. We handle a lot of basic metalwork, the kind of things people in a village need every day. Since we are close to the temple, we get a lot of people walking by while we’re mid-weld. It’s a simple setup with just the tools we actually need and not much else. The walls are a bit dusty from the grinding, and the floor is just concrete that has seen better days. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the torch and the hammer. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on before we can finish a job. It gives us a chance to chat with neighbors who stop by to see what we are making. We are not trying to be the biggest shop in the district, we just want to get the work done right so people can go home happy. It’s hard work, and the heat in Jalgaon does not make it any easier, but we’ve been doing this for a while now. We just take it one gate at a time.
