Our group, Hitech Green World Agro Farmer Producercompany Limited, is based out of Tirpole. If you know the Maharana Pratap Chowk area, we are right there near the Marutimandir and the Grampanchayat. It's a busy little corner of Chalisgaon. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to work together. It made sense because doing things alone is tough when you’re dealing with seeds and harvests. We set up at Sr.No 4 so people would have a central place to meet. It’s a simple building, nothing too special to look at. We spend most of our mornings talking about the crops and what the market is doing. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and that’s usually what we end up discussing over tea. Being near the Grampanchayat means we see a lot of people passing through every day. We try to keep things organized, but with so many farmers involved, it can get a little noisy. We handle the paperwork and the distribution parts of the farming life. Everyone contributes what they can. It’s better than trying to figure out everything by yourself. We’ve lived in this part of Jalgaon for a long time, so we know the families around here. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to keep our farms running and help each other out when things get difficult or the prices drop.
