Hatnur Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

We're over here in Tandalwadi, specifically at Shri Shashank Mukesh Patil’s place in Raver. It’s a small operation, really, just a group of us who farm the land and decided to get organized as Hatnur Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. Most days are spent out in the fields or dealing with the paperwork that comes with running a collective. It isn’t always easy, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate or the market prices dip lower than we hoped. We just try to get the work done together. Some of us have been doing this for decades, following what our fathers did. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It's mostly boots on the ground and dirty hands. Raver is our home, and we know these soils pretty well by now. Sometimes we meet up to talk about seeds or tools, trying to figure out how to keep things moving forward for everyone involved. It's practical work. We aren't trying to be big corporate players, just local people trying to make a living from what we grow. It gets dusty, and the days are long, but that’s just how it goes in agriculture. We don't have a big marketing team, so word of mouth is usually how people find out what we’re up to around here. It's just us, working the land in our corner of the world. Our name is a bit long, but the work is straightforward.
