Uniko

Our place is at Plot No- 204 in Kasipur, right off the Old Railway Road. It is a bit of a gritty area, mostly warehouses and old commercial buildings, but it works for Uniko. The road outside can be quite rough, especially when the trucks are moving in and out all day. We spend a lot of time just managing the space we have. The office part is small, tucked away in the corner of the plot. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the sound of the trains passing by nearby. It isn't a place where people come to sightsee. You come here if you have business to do. Most of our days are spent checking the arrivals and making sure the storage is organized. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. We drink a lot of chai from the shop down the street. The weather gets really heavy here in the summer, and the tin roof doesn't help much, but we have a few fans going. We have been in Kasipur long enough to know all the other business owners on this stretch. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the daily tasks. There is always a list of things to get through before the sun sets. It is a straightforward operation without any bells and whistles. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families.
