Our office is up on the 3rd Floor of Vasal Mall in Civil Lines, Jalandhar. Being in a mall means there’s always something going on, but once you get up to the third floor, it gets a bit more focused. Tse Study Abroad is where we spend our days. It’s a modern enough space, but we’ve made it our own with piles of brochures and notebooks everywhere. Jalandhar is a big place for people wanting to move away for studies, so we stay pretty occupied. We aren't corporate types; we’re just local people who understand how the process works. We sit with students and their parents, often over a glass of water, and go through the requirements. Sometimes the mall music drifts in, but mostly we just hear the sound of typing and the printer running. It’s a lot of data entry and checking requirements for different countries. We try to be thorough because a small mistake can slow everything down. The 144001 area is convenient for people to reach, so we get a lot of walk-ins. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. We just have our work hours and a calendar full of deadlines. It’s a regular office job where we try to get things right for the people who trust us with their plans. Being inside Vasal Mall makes it easy to grab a quick lunch before getting back to the files.
