Sutlej Coach Products is situated at the 6th K.M. Stone on Kapurthala Road. It’s a well-known stretch for industrial work. We’ve been here for quite a long time, working on parts and products for coaches. Our facility is more of a workshop than an office. It’s filled with metal, tools, and various components that go into making buses and large vehicles. You’ll hear a lot of banging and the sound of welding if you come by. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We all wear heavy-duty clothes because the work is physical and often messy. We have a yard where we keep larger items and a covered area for the more sensitive work. The team knows the routine well. Some of the guys have been with us for decades. We don't go in for big mission statements or corporate talk. We just focus on making sure the coach products are built to last. Being on Kapurthala Road means we see a lot of transport business passing by. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or equipment breaking down, but that’s part of the job. We fix it and keep going. It’s a very practical, hands-on business. We don't spend much time on the computer unless it’s for ordering supplies. Most of our day is spent on the shop floor.
