N K Industries

N K Industries is just us working away here on G T Road, near Dhanowali. It’s a busy spot with trucks always going by, so there’s plenty of noise. We spend most of our days getting things ready for customers who need parts or whatever specific job comes through the door. It’s not a fancy place. We’ve got the machines set up and we just keep them running as best we can. Some days are longer than others, especially when a machine acts up or a big delivery is late. We don’t really have a big office or anything, just a desk where we handle the paperwork between the actual work. People usually find us because they know the area well or they saw the sign from the road. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we know most of the guys in the shops nearby. It’s honest work and we try to get things out the door without too much fuss. Sometimes it’s dusty, and the tea guy comes around twice a day which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t spend much time on the computer, mostly we’re on the floor checking things over. If someone comes by, we just stop what we’re doing and talk. It’s how it goes here. We don’t try to be something we aren't, just a local spot on the road doing what we know how to do.
