Our office is located in the Jal Bawa Building over by Jail Chowk, right near Hotel Dolphin. It’s an interesting part of town with a lot of history and constant movement. We work on various systems related to medical needs, which means we have to be quite careful with what we do. The office is often full of manuals and technical diagrams. It’s not the most modern space, but it serves us well enough for the work we do. We spend a lot of our time troubleshooting or helping people understand how the equipment works. Sometimes we have to head out to different sites, so the office can be quiet for a few days before everyone returns at once. We’ve got a small area where we keep spare parts and tools. The building itself is a bit older, so you have to know which light switches work and which ones are just for show. We get our tea from a stall just down the road. It’s a practical environment where we focus on the tasks at hand. Dealing with medical systems can be stressful because you want everything to be perfect, but we just take it one step at a time. Being near the landmark of Hotel Dolphin makes it easy for people to find us when they need to drop off equipment or pick something up. It’s just our daily routine here at Jail Chowk, keeping everything in working order as best as we can.
