Our shop is located on Nakodar Road in Phagwara, right across from the polytechnic college. Being opposite a college means we see a lot of young people around all the time. The 144401 area is often busy with students walking across the road or waiting for buses. Nakodar Road itself is a main stretch, so there are always cars and trucks going past. We have a simple storefront with a sign that’s easy to spot if you’re looking for it. Inside, the space is laid out simply with some benches and tables that have seen a fair bit of use. We try to keep the windows clean, but with the road dust, it’s a constant job. Phagwara is a hardworking town and we try to match that energy by being open early. The atmosphere in the restaurant is usually quite casual. We don’t have any fancy uniforms or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable for working. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the college lets out for the day and everyone comes over at once. We’ve learned to deal with the rush. The building isn't brand new, so there are always small things we need to fix or touch up with paint. It’s a real place run by real people who are just trying to provide a spot for the neighborhood to use. We’ve been here for a bit now and know many of the regulars who pass by every single afternoon.
