Simar Kirana Store

Our shop, Simar Kirana Store, is right in the main market of Village Badesron. We are very close to the Garhshankar Railway Station, so we get people stopping in before or after their train journeys. It is a standard kirana store where we stock all the basics like rice, lentils, tea, and soap. We have been in this spot for a long time. The store is usually a bit crowded with bags and boxes because we try to keep a lot of stock. My son and I manage the counter. We don't have any fancy computers for the bills, we just use a notebook and a calculator. The market is a noisy place, but we like talking to the people who come in. We know most of the families in the village and what they like to buy. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for the truck from Garhshankar to bring more. It can be a bit slow, but that is life in the village. We open early every morning and sweep the front of the shop. We don't have any big advertisements or missions. We just sell good quality groceries to our neighbors. It is a simple life and we are happy to be part of the community here. The trains whistling by is just the background of our day.
