Peridot World Travels

We are located in shop 919 along the busy GT Road here in Jalandhar. The office is right by the general bus stand, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. Mostly, we just handle travel bookings and tickets for people who stop in. It’s not a very fancy place, just a simple shop with a couple of desks and chairs for customers. Being near the Wimpy means there is usually a crowd outside. I spend a lot of my day looking at bus schedules and checking flight prices on the computer. Sometimes the system is slow, but that’s just how it goes. People come in asking about all sorts of trips, some local and some further away. We try to keep everything organized, though the paperwork can get a bit much on busy days. It gets quite dusty with all the traffic from the main road, so we are always cleaning the glass. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on my desk while I work. Most of our visitors are just people from the neighborhood or travelers waiting for their next bus. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shop in the morning and help whoever walks through the door. It’s a straightforward job and we know this area of Jalandhar very well by now.
