Jds Fresh

We have been sitting here at 56 New Jawahar Nagar for quite a while now. The building isn't much to look at, just a regular place where we get the work done. Every morning, the shutters go up around seven or maybe a bit later if the traffic is bad. Jds Fresh is mostly about getting the fruits and vegetables sorted before the sun gets too hot. It’s a lot of lifting crates and checking that nothing has gone soft in the heat. We don't have fancy offices or anything. There is just an old wooden desk and a couple of plastic chairs for when people come by to talk about orders. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the delivery boys coming in and out, but that is just how it is. We know most of the people on this street by name. It’s not like those big companies where nobody talks to each other. We just focus on the daily stuff, like making sure the weights are right and the stock is moving. When the day ends, we sweep the floor and lock up. It’s a basic life here. Some days are busier than others, especially when the new harvests arrive. We don't really do big advertisements. People just find us here in the neighborhood. It's honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
