Little Colombus School

Little Colombus is located at 17 Harbans Nagar, on Street Number 1 in the Pratap Nagar area of Jalandhar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very safe and quiet for the children. The building is a converted house that we have turned into a small school for the younger kids. We have a few rooms that are filled with all sorts of things like building blocks, puzzles, and art supplies. The floors are often covered in mats so the kids can sit and play comfortably. We have a very small team of people who work here, and we all do a bit of everything, from teaching to cleaning up after lunch. The morning starts with everyone arriving and finding their spots. We don't have a big, formal curriculum; we just spend the day doing different activities that keep the toddlers busy. There is a little space in the front where they can stand outside for a bit, but it’s not a big playground. The walls are decorated with things the kids have painted or glued together. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s normal when you have small children around. Most of the families who bring their kids here live just a few streets away. We’ve become a regular part of the community in this corner of Jalandhar. It’s just a small, local school where we take care of the kids.
