Kamal Kids Play School

We started Kamal Kids Play School a while back right here in the main market of Mukerian. Being tucked in with the Kamla Computer Centre means people know where to find us easily. It is a busy spot but we make it work for the little ones. Mostly, we just spend our days making sure the kids have a safe place to sit and learn their basics before they head off to the bigger schools in Hoshiarpur. The rooms aren't fancy, but they are clean and we have enough toys to keep everyone busy. Sometimes the noise from the market gets in, but that is just part of being in the middle of town. We have a few teachers who live nearby and they really know the families around here. It feels more like a small community than a formal office or something. Parents stop by after doing their shopping at the market to pick up their kids. We don't have a big playground, but we use the space we have as best as we can. It’s a simple setup. We spend our time teaching them to share and maybe a bit of drawing. Life is busy in the tehsil, so having a place right here helps the local parents out quite a bit. We try to keep things organized but since it is a play school, there is always a bit of a mess with the crayons and blocks at the end of the day. That is just how it goes with small children. We just do our best to keep them happy.
