We’ve been at No.68 in New Jawala Nagar for a while now. If you’re trying to find us, it’s easiest to look for the big Telephone Exchange first, then come around the back. It’s a bit quieter on Nagra Road compared to the main Maqsoodan crossing, which most of us prefer. The building isn't anything fancy, just a solid place where we get our work done. Most mornings start with unlocking the front gate and checking if the mail came through. It can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so there's usually a bit of sweeping to do before things get moving. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the current shade has sort of grown on us. There's a small tea stall not too far away that we visit when the afternoon slump hits. Dealing with the paperwork and the inventory takes up most of our hours. It’s a regular routine, really. Some days are busier than others when shipments arrive, and the space feels a bit small then. We have some neighbors who’ve been here as long as we have, so we mostly know everyone on the block. It’s just how it is. We keep the doors open when it's not too hot out to let some air in. Sometimes the stray dogs sleep under the shade near the entrance. It's just a normal workplace.
