Jain & Dheer Travels

We started Jain & Dheer Travels a while back. We're down in the lower ground floor of Crystal Plaza, right on Garha Road here in Jalandhar. If you're coming by, look for Taj Restaurant, we're just opposite that. People usually find us easily enough because Chhoti Baradari is a busy spot. It's just a regular office where we sit and figure out travel plans for folks. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking routes on the computer. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic outside but we like it here. There are two of us mostly, and we've lived in Jalandhar all our lives. We know the roads and the train schedules pretty well by now. When someone walks in, we just talk about where they want to go and how much they want to spend. It isn't anything fancy. We have some old maps on the wall and a couple of desks that have seen better days. Usually, we're just helping neighbors get to the airport or booking a bus for a family trip. Sometimes things get busy during the holiday season and the phone doesn't stop ringing. We try to keep up with everything. If you're near the plaza, you can just pop in. We usually have the tea going. We don't have a huge staff, just us locals trying to help out other locals with their trips. It's honest work and we enjoy seeing people head off on their vacations.
