You can find us at Hi-Glance Overseas on the Jalalpur-Ramgarh Road. We are pretty close to the Central Bank of India, which is a big landmark that everyone uses for directions. This isn't a retail shop where you just walk in for a loaf of bread or milk. We do more specialized work, dealing with goods that move across different regions and borders. The office is very simple, with just a few metal desks and a lot of paper files stacked in the corners. It gets quite hot in the afternoons during the summer, so we keep the ceiling fans going at full speed. Working on the main road to Ramgarh means we see a lot of heavy trucks and traffic passing through every single day. It’s a busy route for transport. We’ve been at this for some time now, and we’ve learned how to handle the ups and downs of the shipping trade. Sometimes things get delayed at the docks or stuck on the road for days, and those times can be a bit stressful for us. We just sit with our tea and try to figure out the next step to take. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls or fancy carpets. It’s just a place where the actual work gets done. My assistant handles most of the typing on the old computer, and I deal with the shipping guys. We don't have any big slogans. We just try to make sure everything gets where it belongs.
