We’ve been here at 642B in Ashta Bila for a good while now. J P Nagar is a busy spot, especially being so close to the police station, but you get used to the noise. Gautam Dhall & Associates isn’t some fancy glass-tower office. It’s just a place where we get the work done. The desks are usually covered in files and we probably drink too much tea during the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. That’s just how it is in Jalandhar. People come in with their paperwork, and we sit down and go through it one page at a time. There’s no big secret to how we operate. We just show up, open the shutters, and start on whatever is at the top of the pile. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the work is what matters more than the decor. It’s a local place. You might see us walking down the street to grab a snack or just standing outside for a bit of air. We know most of the people around here by name. If you’re looking for the office, just look for the police station in J P Nagar and we’re right there in the Ashta Bila building. It’s simple, it’s a bit messy sometimes, but the job gets finished eventually. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t.
