Jin Kushal Suri Stone

Our place, Jin Kushal Suri Stone, sits over at H-94 (A) in the Riico Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of town, especially being so close to the FCI godown where there are always trucks coming and going. The industrial area isn't the quietest place to work, but it suits what we do just fine. Most days are spent out in the yard dealing with various types of stone and making sure everything is organized. We don't really do the whole corporate thing here. It is more about getting your hands dirty and moving heavy material from one spot to another. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the middle of the day, so we take our breaks when we can, usually with a cup of tea near the front. The stones we keep are heavy and they take up a lot of space, so the yard always looks a bit crowded. It’s not a polished showroom where everything is under bright lights. It’s a working yard where things happen and people come by when they need something solid for a building project. We’ve got a small shed for paperwork, but mostly we are outside. It is a straightforward life here in the industrial zone. We know our neighbors and the truck drivers who pass through the FCI area regularly. There is a lot of dust from the stone cutting and the wind, but that is just how an industrial site works.
