St Pauls School

We are located on Air Force Road at Plot No 33 in Jaisalmer. Being in a place like Jaisalmer, we have to deal with a lot of sand and wind, so we are always cleaning the floors. The school is right near the main road that leads towards the air force area, so we see a lot of military vehicles going past. It is a school for kids of various ages, and we have been here for a good number of years. The building is made of the local yellow stone, so it blends in with everything else in the city. We have a yard where the kids gather for assembly and sports. Inside, it is just regular classrooms with desks and benches. The teachers are local people who have lived in the desert for a long time. They do not have time for fancy talk, they just get on with the lessons. We do not have a website that looks like it belongs to a big company. We are just a local school doing what we have always done. During the summer, it gets incredibly hot, so we try to get most of the work done in the cooler morning hours. Parents often come by on their bikes to pick up their children after the final bell. It is a quiet, steady kind of place where things follow a set routine every single day.
