Golden Era Public School

Golden Era Public School is tucked away in Indra Colony here in Jaisalmer. If you live around here, you probably pass by us all the time. The school is not some giant modern complex; it is more of a neighborhood fixture. Mornings are usually the busiest time, obviously. You hear the kids laughing and shouting before they even get through the gate. Jaisalmer can get incredibly dusty, so there is always a bit of sand on the floors, no matter how much we sweep. It is just part of life in this part of Rajasthan. We have some trees in the courtyard that provide a bit of shade, which is nice during the summer months. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for years. We know most of the families by name, which makes things feel a bit more personal. Sometimes the power goes out, or a pipe leaks, and we just handle it. It is not a perfect place, but it is where the kids come to study and hang out with their friends. We have the usual stuff like classrooms, some sports gear, and a small library that has seen better days but still has plenty of books. We just keep things moving, trying to make sure the kids stay on track with their work. It is a simple setup on Indra Colony, nothing more and nothing less. We are just here doing our bit for the community.
