Zest Gartex Ltd.

Our factory, Zest Gartex Ltd., is out in the Sitapura Industrial Area at G-126. If you have been to Sitapura, you know it is a huge place with long roads and big gates. Our building is a standard industrial shed. Inside, we have rows of sewing machines and cutting tables. It is a high-ceilinged space, so it echoes a lot when people are talking or the machines are running. We mostly handle bulk garment orders. We do not have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine for visitors. There is a small office near the front where we handle the billing and phone calls, but the real work happens in the back. The workers come in early, and we usually have a break around noon for lunch. We deal with piles of fabric that come in on trucks and leave as finished clothing. It is a repetitive process, but it requires a lot of attention so the sizes and colors do not get mixed up. Some days the heat in the industrial area is really intense, and we all just try to stay hydrated and keep the production moving. We are not trying to be famous or anything; we just have contracts to fulfill and deadlines to meet. It is a busy, practical life out here in G-126. We have been here for a while and we know the rhythms of the industrial zone.
