Our office is at 508 in Rajni Vihar, which is just off the main Ajmer Road. It’s a fairly quiet residential area compared to the noise of the highway. We’ve been working out of this space for a good while now. Jyamiti Designs And Exports isn't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. We are a small team that handles design work and manages the export side of things from this room. There are desks piled with sketches and computer screens showing different layouts. We spend a lot of time on email and making phone calls to coordinate with people far away. The view out the window is just the regular streets of Rajni Vihar. It’s a practical place to work without the distractions of a city center. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet goes slow, just like in any other office. We don't have a reception desk or a sign in the lobby. People usually come by appointment or they’re just delivery guys bringing in samples from factories. Ajmer Road is a busy artery for the city, so getting here is pretty straightforward for us every morning. We do our drawings, check the shipping schedules, and make sure everything is moving along. It’s steady work. We don't try to sound like something we aren't. We just handle the designs and the exports as best as we can from our corner in Jaipur. It keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
