Vintage Jeans

You can find us over at Vintage Jeans, right on Road No. 1 in the Vki Area. We are located at Plot No. 34/35, which is a decent-sized space for what we do here in Shankar Nagar. Being in Murlipura means there is always something going on around us with all the other workshops and businesses. We spend most of our time dealing with denim and different types of trousers. It gets a bit noisy with the machines running, but that is the sound of work getting done. We started this because we liked the idea of making things that actually last for a while. It is not about fashion shows or anything like that. We just look at the fabric and the stitching to make sure it is solid. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread and scrap material by the end of the shift. We try to sweep up, but it starts all over again the next morning. It is a gritty sort of job, but there is something nice about seeing a finished pair of jeans ready to go out. We don't have a big lobby or a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our work clothes, maybe with some chalk marks on our hands from the cutting table. We have been in this spot for a bit and know the rhythms of the area well. It is a good place for a business like ours where we just focus on the craft.
