Our place is at No. 51 in Shyam Nagar, right near Nadi Ka Phatak in the Jhotwara area. If you know Jhotwara, you know how the traffic can get near the railway crossing. It’s always a bit of a gamble how long it takes to get here in the morning. The office is tucked away in a spot that stays relatively quiet once you get inside. We have a few computers set up and some old chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a long day of work. The neighborhood is mostly houses and small shops, so it feels like a regular local spot. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people at the door. Usually, one of us just looks up from a desk when someone walks in. We spend a lot of time typing and talking about different projects we have going on. The sun shines quite bright through the front window in the afternoon, so we have some thick curtains to keep the glare off the monitors. It’s not a polished corporate environment, just a bunch of people trying to get stuff done and making sure everything runs like it should. We like the fact that it’s a bit out of the way from the main city center. It gives us a chance to focus without too many distractions, though the sound of the trains nearby is something you eventually just stop noticing after a few weeks of working here.
