Voltas Ltd

Our office is sitting over at J 8 Tagore Nagar, just off the Ajmer Road in the Hirapura area of Jaipur. It is a pretty convenient spot if you are traveling in from that side of town. Jaipur is always growing, and you can see the changes happening right outside our door. The office is part of a residential-style building, so it doesn't feel cold or corporate. We have a couple of rooms where we handle all the Voltas Ltd business for this area. The dust from the road is a constant battle, no matter how much we sweep. It's just part of life in Rajasthan. We have a small cooler that we keep running all summer, and it makes a loud humming noise that we’ve all learned to ignore. Most of the people working here are from around the neighborhood or the nearby sectors. We don't have any big flashy banners out front, just a small nameplate. Lunch is usually brought from home, and we all sit together in the small back room. It’s a tight-knit group here. We don't worry too much about how the place looks to outsiders as long as the work is getting done properly. It's a bit cramped when we have a lot of deliveries, but we manage to make it work every day. The sunset over the road is actually quite nice if you catch it at the right time before leaving for the day.
