We are set up in VKIA on Road No 14 at A-407-A/A. It’s an engineering place, so you will see a lot of tools and parts lying around. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we get things done. We spend most of our time looking at drawings or working on the machines in the back. It can get quite loud, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard over the hum. The office area is mostly taken up by old computers and stacks of manuals that we should probably sort through one day. We have a small group of people working here, and everyone knows their job. It is not the kind of place where you wear a suit. Most of us are in work clothes that get dirty pretty fast. We get a lot of visitors from other companies in the industrial area looking for specific parts or advice on a project. The tea lady comes by twice a day, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We stay busy with various contracts, some big and some small. There is always a deadline looming, so we end up staying late more often than we'd like. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Road 14 is always busy with lorries, so getting in and out can be a bit of a challenge. We just take it day by day.
