I’m located at number 34 in Dungarpur. This is where I do most of my work, whether it’s looking over photos or working on some art pieces. Dungarpur is a good place to be, it’s got a certain feel to it that shows up in my work sometimes. I don’t run a big fancy gallery. It’s mostly just me and a few rooms filled with frames, cameras, and some sketches. I spend a lot of time out and about, taking pictures of things I find interesting. It isn't always about weddings or big events; sometimes it’s just a nice landscape or a person on the street. I like the art side of things just as much as the photography. I get my hands dirty with paint and charcoal too. People come by the house at 34 to see what I’ve been working on or to talk about a project. It’s very informal. I don’t wear a suit or have a front desk person. If I’m home, I’m usually working on something. I’ve lived in Dungarpur for a long time, so I know the local people well. My work is just a reflection of what I see every day. It’s not perfect, but it’s honest. I try to capture things as they really are without too much fuss or extra editing. Sometimes I lose track of time when I'm working, so if you knock and I don't answer right away, I'm probably just busy.
