Atul The Freaky Traveller Photography is basically me and my gear over here in Sector 8, Pratap Nagar. My address is on Chetak Marg, which is a fairly easy spot to find if you know this part of town. I started this because I just liked taking pictures while I was out on the road. The "freaky traveller" part comes from how much I used to wander around without much of a plan. Now, I spend more time here in the studio or out on local shoots. The office isn't very big, mostly just a desk, my computer for editing, and a few lights standing in the corner. It stays a bit messy with cords and camera bags everywhere, but I know where everything is. Pratap Nagar is a decent place to be based. It’s not as loud as the city center, which I like. I usually spend my mornings drinking coffee and looking through the shots from the day before. I don't really have a big staff or anything, it’s mostly just me doing the shooting and the editing. Sometimes a friend helps out if it’s a big project. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. I just point the camera and try to catch something that looks real. People find me through word of mouth or see me walking around with my tripod. It’s a simple way to make a living.
