Vinayak Traders

Vinayak Traders is located at number 10 in Barah Ji Ki Gali, right off Gangouri Bazar. It’s one of those narrow lanes where you have to be careful when a scooter passes by. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the shop is pretty much our second home. We deal with various trading items, mostly things that local people and other small shops need. The space is a bit tight, with boxes stacked up to the ceiling, but we know exactly where everything is. Usually, one of us stays at the front to talk to customers while someone else is in the back checking the stock. It’s a very local vibe here. We know the names of the people who live in the apartments above us and we often share tea with the neighboring shopkeepers. We don’t have a website or any of that modern stuff; people just walk in or call us on the landline. It’s a simple way of doing business, based on knowing people for a long time. Some days the lane is so busy with deliveries that it’s hard to move, but we manage somehow. We aren't trying to grow into some huge company. We just want to keep the shop running smoothly and make sure our customers get what they need without any fuss. It’s just everyday work in a busy part of town, and we like the routine of it all. It stays busy from morning until we close the shutters.
