Veekay Traders

You can find Veekay Traders up on the second floor of JTM Tower, specifically at SF 28. We are pretty close to the Jagatpura Railway Station in Jaipur, so the sound of trains is something we’ve gotten used to hearing in the background. The tower itself is a busy place with lots of different offices and shops. Our space isn't huge, but it fits what we need for our daily trading activities. We move a lot of goods through here and there’s always paperwork to sort out. Some mornings start really early when the shipments come in, and other days we spend mostly on the phone or checking lists. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. The stairs in the tower can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. We’ve been here for a bit now and know most of the other people working on our floor. It feels like a little community of its own. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of files. Jaipur is growing fast, and being out here near Jagatpura means we see all that new construction happening all the time. We just keep our heads down and focus on our own tasks. It’s a practical life, making sure things get from one place to another without too much trouble.
