We are set up over in the Jagat Pura area, specifically at D 112 on Getore Road near Sidharth Nagar. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city gates, but it’s a lot quieter here than at Ajmeri Gate. Our shop is where we handle a lot of different tech stuff, mostly just fixing things and setting up new systems for people. There are always tangled cables laying around and parts of computers sitting on the workbenches. It might look a bit messy to someone walking in from the street, but we know exactly where every tool is kept. The air conditioner hums in the corner, trying its best to work against the intense Jaipur heat. We spend a huge part of our day just looking at screens and typing on keyboards. People come in with broken phone screens or laptops that won't start up, and we just see what we can do to help them out. It involves a lot of trial and error sometimes. We have a small wooden bench for people to sit on while they wait for their devices. The street outside is getting much busier every year as more houses and apartments go up. We usually eat our lunch in the small back room while watching the traffic go by the front window. It’s a practical place, focused on getting things fixed properly. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to restart the router, which is annoying but just part of the job.
