Vijay Pharma

We have been at C/168 in Tilak Nagar for a good while now. Our place, Vijay Pharma, sits right on Sunder Marg. It is a familiar corner for most people living around here. We spend our days mostly surrounded by shelves and boxes of various medicines. It isn’t a very complicated operation. We open up the shop in the morning and stay until the evening. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work. Usually, there is a bit of dust on the front step by midday because of the traffic on Sunder Marg, so we keep a broom handy. Customers come in with their notes from the doctor, and we do our work to find the right bottles or strips. Sometimes we have to double-check the labels carefully, which takes a bit of time. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place in town, just a steady one for the neighbors. There is a lot of noise from the street, but inside it stays fairly quiet unless we are talking to a regular. Most of the people who come by have been coming for years. We recognize them and they know us. It is just a basic local pharmacy where the work is consistent. We don’t have fancy displays or loud music. It is just us, the medicine, and the people from Tilak Nagar. Every night we lock up, check the inventory for the next day, and go home. That is the daily life here at our shop.
