Our place at H-154 in Sez-2 of the Sitapura Industrial Area is pretty far out for some people. Agkem Impex Pvt. Ltd. is mostly about managing the imports and exports, so there are always shipping containers and trucks nearby. The dust in Sitapura can be a bit much when the wind picks up. We have a basic office setup with a few desks and a very old filing cabinet that squeaks. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is a blessing in this part of the world. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the warehouse logs. It is an industrial zone, so don't expect any gardens or fancy sights. Just lots of gray buildings and warehouses. We share the block with a few other companies, but we mostly keep to ourselves. The lunch break is the only time it gets quiet around here. We have a small area in the back where we keep some samples of the stuff we trade. It is a lot of paperwork and tracking numbers throughout the week. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It is just the way things go in an industrial estate. We have been here long enough that the guards know us by name. It is not a glamorous job but it keeps us busy every day.
