Vijay Balani

I’m located at B-407 in the Jawahar Enclave, which is over in Sector 2 of Jawahar Nagar in Jaipur. The name is Vijay Balani. It’s a solid apartment complex, and being on the fourth floor gives me a bit of a view of the surrounding area. Rajasthan is beautiful, but it gets incredibly hot, so I’ve usually got the curtains drawn during the day. The pin code here is 302004. My setup is pretty basic. I have a desk, a couple of chairs, and a lot of books and papers scattered around. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but I know where everything is. I’ve lived in Jaipur for a long time, and I’ve been in this enclave for a good chunk of it. The neighbors are mostly families, so you hear kids playing in the hallways sometimes. It makes the place feel alive. I don't have a big sign on the door or anything. If you’re looking for B-407, you’ll find me. I spend most of my time here, just working through whatever needs doing. It’s a quiet life for the most part. I don’t see the need for a fancy office when this room works just fine. I just wake up, have some coffee, and get to it. It’s a practical way to run things without any unnecessary fluff or overhead. Just me and my work in Jawahar Nagar, keeping it simple every single day.
